vacation

going to seattle for an interview on friday. get some good doughnuts at the market. see p.j. harvey. yep. good times await. ready to pass this drug test and get out of kankakee. there's a good musical soul here, but it's time to move on. first, though, i have to finish this contra 3 song.

on a bizarre musical journey...

i've started to scratch the surface of a musical project that should help me to focus. it's a video game remix and it's going to push the absolute limits of my bass playing ability (of which i have so little). the best part of all is that it's a team effort, so i can't just slack off and say, "yeah, i'll get to that some other time when i feel like not being lazy and getting everything set up."
